"Grade Schoolhouse Confidential" is the nineteenth episode of Season eight.

Synopsis

After stumbling beyond Principal Skinner and Mrs. Krabappel kissing, Bart strikes a deal with them to keep it a secret, but unknown to Bart, the deal he makes lands him in the centre of this dear affair.

Total Story

Martin invites his classmates to his birthday party, but the gathering turns out to exist incredibly boring. To cap off the poorly received party, the celebration gets abandoned when near everyone becomes ill with food poisoning that was caused by serving diseased oysters instead of cake. In the meantime, Principal Seymour Skinner and Edna Krabappel nourish and have a chat which leads to them discovering that they have romantic feelings for each other. They terminate up kissing in Martin's pink playhouse in an deed witnessed by Bart (ane of the few to escape the poisoning, Lisa did too, only feigned sickness so that she could exit with an excuse).

Bart plans to reveal what he witnessed, just Seymour and Edna fear that they would exist fired if anyone found out and they swear him to secrecy. One afternoon at school, after he is embarrassed in front of his classmates by having to say ane of Seymour's messages to Edna out loud, Bart becomes and then furious subsequently getting ridiculed by his friends and he bitterly responds by gathering the entire schoolhouse in front of the janitor's cupboard and opens the door to reveal that Seymour and Edna are kissing each other.

Seymour chooses that dearest is stronger than his professional goals, and so Chalmers fires him and Edna, expecting them to get out the building past iii:00.

Bart learns that the couple have lost their jobs and shows remorse for them. Later Seymour apologizes to Bart for humiliating him, Bart encourages the former primary to stand up for himself. Seymour and Edna lock downwards the school, phone call the media and make their demands: They want their jobs back and the townspeople to non interfere with their relationship. Still, several residents (specifically Maude Flanders) rebuke with the accusation about the two having sexual intercourse in the janitor'south closet. Seymour insists nix of the sort happened and that he is a virgin. Everyone accepts the explanation, since no one would ever give false information about being a 44 yr old virgin. Chalmers agrees to reinstate Seymour and Edna every bit though nothing ever happened. The couple choose to continue their relationship more privately than always by disarming Bart that they have broken up afterward thanking him for helping them.
